Diagnostic Evaluation, Psychopharmacologic Management and Clinical Consultation
Dr. Gold provides diagnostic evaluation and psychopharmacologic management for acute and chronic psychiatric disorders, including posttraumatic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. She assesses medication needs and makes recommendations for appropriate psychopharmacologic treatment. Dr. Gold will also assess current psychopharmacologic strategies for appropriateness, efficacy, and for optimal reduction and/or management of side effects and provide psychopharmacologic management if indicated.
Dr. Gold also provides evaluation and medication management for psychiatric symptoms and disorders related to women's reproductive biology, such as postpartum disorders, disorders related to perimenopause and menopause, and the use of medications during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Dr. Gold provides consultations for other clinicians and their patients who may be facing the challenging issues of psychopharmacologic management of psychiatric orders during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
