Dr. Gold is a board certified forensic psychiatrist with a national reputation. She has been retained to provide expert services all over the United States. Dr. Gold has been retained by both plaintiffs and defense attorneys as well as administrative agencies, consultative health agencies, insurance companies, and government agencies to provide expert opinions on psychiatric issues that arise in legal or administrative settings.
Dr. Gold specializes in the mental health assessment of employment related psychiatric problems, emotional injuries, emotional damages, and mental disability. She has authored numerous articles and books on psychiatric employment evaluations and mental disability evaluations. She provides consultations in civil litigation, forensic evaluations in employment litigation and other types of cases, independent medical evaluations, and testimony regarding psychiatric issues, emotional injuries and damages in medical malpractice, employment litigation, and mental disability claims. These include evaluations and testimony regarding psychiatric claims and discrimination, mental disability claims, the ADA, fitness for duty examinations, long-term and short-term disability, workers compensation, sexual, gender and racial discrimination, and other employment related legal and administrative matters.
